A fresh plunge: The new indoor swimming pool "Meranarena" invites you to take a plunge in its beautiful pool from October to May. Those who prefer swimming in contact with nature have at their disposal (in summer!) three natural lakes. Special suggestion: The Lake of Caldaro (Kalter) is one of the warmest swimming ponds in the Alps!

Merano Thermal Baths: the outdoor swimming pool with its unique park and the indoor swimming pool will be ready in autumn 2005 and offer a wide range of treatments and wellness packages. Come and visit our new Thermal Baths!

Waalwege: enjoy the splendid view over Merano from one of the many paths along the ancient canals which surround the town. These well-kept paths constitute a net of more than 60 km and are almost flat: the ideal way to admire the historical town without any effort!
Special suggestion: enjoy the enchanting panorama over Merano from the 4-kilometre long Tappeiner Promenades. Already in the first spring months unique exotic flowers and plants border this sunny path, which the famous doctor Mr. Franz Tappeiner dedicated to the town of Merano.

Horse riding: in the land of the Haflinger horses you cannot miss a horse ride! The Riding Club Meran/o is only 1 km away form our House. For further information call the number 0039 (0)473 232481.

Down hill: get in contact with nature on a mountain bike, by rafting or by paragliding with an instructor! Our special suggestion: every Wednesday a guided mountain bike tour leaves from the Vigiljoch.

Mountains call: the best advice we can give to expert hikers is the one-day excursion to the Spronser Lakes in the Natural Park "Texel Group" above Merano. Enjoy the untouched nature on the plateau with its nine small lakes.
Our second advice and a "must" for real hikers is the hike from Latsch through Castelbell to the Juval Castle of the famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner.

Bolzano - cultural centre in South Tyrol: our administrative centre really deserves a visit. Come and see Ötzi in the Archaeological Museum, watch a première or enjoy the opera in the City Theatre and relax with a glass of local wine in the Walther Square!!
